Your 8 steps to lower fuel consumption, emissions and costs – the Ford Econo Check.
1. Visit Busseys. A service advisor will explain all the details and technology of the Ford Econo Check to you. He will also fill in a return card with your contact details.
2. As part of the Ford Econo Check a highly skilled technician will check 35 points on your vehicle, including those points relating to fuel consumption. For instance, that the tyre pressure is correct and the air filter is clean.
3. Then a data logger** will be fitted to your Ford. This data logger is programmed to collect information relevant to fuel consumption.
4. Drive as normal over the next seven days. We evaluate your driving style based on the analysis of the recorded driving data.
5. After a week, detach the data logger and send it back to Ford in their self-addressed envelope along with the completed return card. Or contact Busseys, who will gladly detach it from your Ford vehicle.
